D'Elia served as president of Delco Office Systems in Greenwich.
Born March 2, 1933, in Passiac, N.J., he was the youngest son of Jane Vincenza Colucci and Joseph D'Elia. He graduated from New York University with a degree in business. D'Elia was a member of the Lions Club in Greenwich, the Halloween Yacht Club and Elks Club and was a fan of the New York Yankees.
He is survived by his wife, Beata; three children, Dione, Darlene and Daniel; a brother, Robert; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home in Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kids in Crisis.
