She was born July 24, 1922, to Tony and Marigo Arahovitis Vanech. She was raised in Stamford and married George Youmans Sr. on Oct. 5, 1951. She was happiest spending time with her family and friends, especially during her many visits to Cape Cod, Mass.
She is survived by two children, George Youmans Jr. and Margot Youmans.
Youmans was predeceased by her husband; a sister, Bertha Vanech; and two brothers, Ted and George Vanech.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Bosak Funeral Home in Stamford. A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford.
