STAMFORD, Conn. – Pansy Cobb Simmons, 63, of Stamford, died on Friday, March 13, 2015.
She was born on Dec. 22, 1951 in Carthage, N.C., to James G. Cobb and Hattie Luvenia Johnson Cobb.
She was employed as a certified nursing assistant for a number of years.
She is survivesd by three daughters, Tyhisia Cobb, Ebony Hicks (James), and Fatima Cobb; three sons, Paxton Cobb, Freddie Moore and Steffan Kelly; 14 grandchildren; one sister; Julian Johnson (Ronald); and two brothers; Ernie Cobb and Ernest McCormick (Barbara).
Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a service of celebration at 11 a.m. at Downer Funeral Home, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford. Interment will be private.
