Nellie Farrow, 96, Of Stamford, Retired Sears Employee

STAMFORD, Conn. – Nellie M. Farrow, 96, died Tuesday, March 10.

She was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Springville, Ala., to the late Henry and Willie Mae Powers Curry.

Farrow worked with Sears Corp. until her retirement.

Survivors include one daughter; Joyce Farrow; two sons, Bobby (Audrey) Farrow and Don (Dahlene) Farrow; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Her husband, Henry, is deceased.

Calling hours will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church, 27 Baxter Ave., Stamford.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Downer Funeral Home, Stamford, is handling the arrangements.
