Nancy F. Susetka, 88, Co-Owner Of Belltown News Service, Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. - Nancy F. Susetka, a longtime resident of Stamford, died Thursday, March 28. She was 88.

Susetka was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on Jan. 29, 1925, to John and Julia Fyk Fetchet. For 48 years, Nancy and her husband Frank owned and operated the Belltown News Service until her retirement in 1995. She managed all front-office responsibilities including bookkeeping, billing, customer service, routing and staffing.

Susetka is survived by her children, Judith S. Baluha (Richard) of Norwalk, Barbara S. Walsh (John) of Armonk, N.Y., William F. Susetka (Stephanie) of Palm Coast, Fla.; son-in-law, William H. Humphreys of Bedford, N.Y.; four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Frank; daughter, Mary K. Humphreys of Bedford, N.Y.; siblings, Ann Lischak of Youngstown Ohio, Mary Gilida Hickman and Julia Homsey of Boardman, Ohio, Christine Byers of Ocala, Fla., Stephen Fetchet of Ontario, Calif., Frank Fetchet of Columbia Station, Ohio, Michael Fetchet of Youngstown, Ohio and John Fetchet of New Canaan, Conn.

Calling hours are Monday, April 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902. A funeral procession will be leaving Tuesday, April 2 at 9:20 a.m. from the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, 1184 Newfield Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, 230 Oaklawn Ave., Stamford.
