STAMFORD, Conn. – Marcia Parthemore Phelps of Stamford died Monday, Dec. 3. She was 61.
Phelps was born Nov. 9, 1951, in Pasadena, Calif., to the late Agnes and Edward Parthemore. A resident of Stamford for more than 50 years, she was an active member in the Springdale community and the United Methodist Church of Springdale.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Richard Phelps; a brother, Edward Parthemore, of Lynchburg, Va.; two children, Christine Phelps and Bryan Phelps; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church of Springdale, with a reception to follow. Bouton and Reynolds Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church of Springdale, 1116 Hope St., Stamford, CT 06907, where the family has set up a fund to support emergency relief missions.
