STAMFORD, Conn. - Linda L. Matisons of Stamford died Tuesday, May 14. She was 93.
Matisons was born Sept. 16, 1919, in Finland, to William and Hulda Koskimaki Viro.
Matisons is survived by her granddaughters, Jamie Matisons and Melissa Matison-Ponce (Chris); and a great-grandson, all of North Carolina. She was predeceased by her parents: husband , Miklis; son, Michael D. Matisons; and four sisters.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 21 at 11 a.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery, Heckler Ave., Darien.
The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, is in charge with the arrangements.
