Lena Delor, 90, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Lena Delor, 90, a longtime resident of Stamford, died Sunday, Aug. 23 at St. Camillus Health Center.

She was born in Nisko, Poland, Dec. 17, 1924, to the late Pioter and Francesca Dabek. She met and married Kazimierz Delor, in 1948 in Poland. Shortly after, they came to the U.S. and settled in Stamford.

She worked for many years as a seamstress for B&S Coat Factory, which later became Carelton Coat Company. After her retirement, she spent her time tending to her home and family.

Her husband died in 2001.

She is survived by her daughter, Irene Delor, of Stamford.

A brief visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 10-10:30 a.m. at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford.

A prayer service will take place at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. The committal service and interment will immediately follow at St. John Roman Catholic Cemetery, Darien, Connecticut.
