STAMFORD, Conn. — Joseph J. Pierson, 40, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
He graduated from Westhill High School in 1990 and attended Ithaca College. He worked for the Oxford Health Plans and went on to work for the Affinion Group as senior manager/ fulfillment operations. In his free time he was an athlete, a musician and an avid fisherman.
Pierson is survived by his parents, James E. and Joanne Simon Pierson; his sister, Janice Pierson; a niece; and lifelong partner Eloisa Munter. Memorial donations can be made to Save the Sound, 142 Temple St., Suite 305, New Haven, CT 06510.
