STAMFORD, Conn. -- John Reginald Holman, of Stamford, died Dec. 22. He was 72.
He was born Feb. 15, 1943, to the late John and Christine Roberts Holman in Mineola, N.Y.
He graduated from Stamford High School and was a six-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as a Bolswain Mate 3rd class.
He was a former owner of Cycle Supply, a retired Shelby County Park Ranger and a longtime parishioner of Church of the Holy Spirit.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Maryann Holman; sons, John Michael (Penny) Holman, Timothy Joseph Holman and Jason John Holman; grandchildren, Jacob and Margaret Holman; brother, Frederick (Susan) Holman; brother-in-law Robert McNamara and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. A graveside service will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 35 Parsonage Road, Greenwich.
