STAMFORD, Conn. – A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday for Joanna G. Houseworth, a Stamford resident since 1964, who died on May 28, at Stamford Hospital. She was 86.

Houseworth was born on Jan. 5, 1929, in Chicago to Edith and Jay Funsten.

Houseworth is survived by her children; Susan Capone and husband Gary of Danbury, Christopher Houseworth and his wife Lorena of Barrington, R.I., and Charles Houseworth of Stuart, Fla., four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband, William A. Houseworth; a sister, Marion M. Rau, and a brother, Joseph Funsten.

The memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 566 Elm St. in Stamford.
