Jean R. Fusaro, 100, Former Stamford Resident

TRUMBULL, Conn. - Jean R. Fusaro of Trumbull, formerly of Stamford, died Friday, Nov. 1. She was 100.

Fusaro was born in Utica, N.Y, to Sam and Angela Caputo, she was raised in Greenwich and graduated from Greenwich High School. She lived in Stamford until 1982. She worked in the payroll department at Petrol fuel. She was a volunteer at St. Joseph's Manor. She was a member of the Golden Follies. She was a member of the choir and was past president of the Rosary Society at Sacred Heart church in Stamford. After moving to Trumbull she was also a member St. Stephen's choir and a lay Carmelite.

Fusaro is survived by her daughters, Marcellene Berry of California and Claudette Giblin (Frank) of Fairfield; sister, Mel Miro of Westport; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Fusaro; son-in-law, William Berry; brother, Alfred Caputo; and sister, Eleanor Nardozza.

Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 8 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main St., and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church Trumbull where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Private interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Darien.
