STAMFORD, Conn. - Jean Peterson of Stamford died Monday April 15. She was 80.
Peterson was born in Trinidad on May 24, 1932, to Matthew and Mable Davey Young.
Peterson is survived by daughter, Jeanette Peterson (Dale) Wright of Stamford; sisters, Pearl Richards of Texas and Roma Marshall of Trinidad; brothers, Percy Phillips, Sedrick Young and Frank Young, all of Trinidad; and four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; son, Kenneth Young; and a sister and a brother.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 27, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 611 Fairfield Ave., Stamford. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford will assist with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peterson’s honor to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 611 Fairfield Ave., Stamford, CT 06902.
