Isabella Antoinette Delpizzo McLester, 92, Of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. - Isabella Antoinette Delpizzo McLester, of Stamford and a former native of New York, died Sept. 8. She was 92.

McLester was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Manhattan, to Reginella and Antonio Delpizzo. She resided in The Bronx, raised her family in Yonkers and retired to Ardsley before relocating to Stamford in 2012. She worked as an administrator in the Yonkers Public School system for more than 20 years.

McLester is survived by her husband, Charles J. McLester; daughters, Regina (David) Sheil, Mary Louise (Jordan) Glass, Anna (John) Carberry; son, Anthony (Jennie); four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and her sisters Helen, Aida, Margaret, Gloria and Rachelina.
