STAMFORD, Conn. – Francesca Vitti of Stamford died Nov. 13. She was 92.
Born Dec. 9, 1919, in Settefrati, Italy, she was the daughter of Ludovico and Maria Tamburro Nizzardo. She was married to Alfredo Vitti, who predeceased her.
Vitti is survived by three children, Antonio (Rina) Vitti, John (Linda) Vitti and Rita (Giovanni) De Rubeis; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by seven siblings, Michele, Antonietta, Mariono, Filippo, Pio, Gerarda and Pasquale Nizzardo; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Vitti.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lacerenza Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church in Stamford. Entombment will be held in Settefrati at a later date.
