STAMFORD, Conn. Dennis J. Rodia Jr. of Stamford died suddenly Aug. 30 in Norwalk Hospital. He was 44.
The son of Lilli Bruno Rodia and Dennis J. Rodia Sr., he was born Dec. 27, 1967, in Stamford and remained a lifelong area resident. Rodia was a self-employed roofer and carpenter.
He is survived by his mother, Lilli, of Nowalk; his longtime friend, Donnella Bryan; his stepmother, Diane Rodia, of Norwalk; two sisters Michele (Todd) Turner, of Norwalk, and Mary (Matthew) Pisani, of North Haven; a brother, Chris Rodia, of Norwalk; a stepdaughter, Monica Wilson, of Bridgeport; and several stepbrothers, stepsisters, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Dennis.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home in Norwalk. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
