STAMFORD, Conn. -- Catherine Mead, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died on Saturday, Dec. 12. She was 83.
Mead was born Jan. 8, 1932 to James and Ephra (Riberty) Couremenos.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, William Mead.
Mead is survived by her sister Nancy Macari of Brookfield; daughters Tamara (Steve) Stanley of Portsmouth, Va., Nancy Iglesias of Stamford; grandchildren, William and Jose Iglesias of Stamford, Amanda, and Alyssa of Portsmouth, Va., Andrew Stanley of Wilmington, Del.
She is also survived by herstep-granddaughter Ashley Godfrey of Texas; step-great-grandchildren, Gage, Mackenzie, Brennan, and Tristen of Texas; nephews Michael and Jerry Macari of Stamford and her niece Diane Pastor of Brookfield.
Interment will take place in private.
