Angela Iannotta, 60, Lifelong Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. - Angela Iannotta of Stamford died April 3. She was 60.

Iannotta was born April 23, 1952, in Rio Molle, Italy, to Mary and Ralph Apruzzese. She came to the United States with her family and settled in Stamford. She attended Presentation High School and Mother of God Academy, graduating in 1970.

Iannotta was a homemaker for many years and later worked as a secretary for Todd Combustion of Stamford in the early 1990s.

Iannotta is survived by her mother, Angela; daughter, Noelle (John) Corelli, of Stamford; former husband, Gino Iannotta of Stamford; siblings, Laura Quigley, Salvatore Apruzzese and Antoinette Apruzzese; nephews; niece; several great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Friday April 5,  from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford. A funeral procession will leave Saturday, April 6 at 9:20 a.m. from the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m.  in St Cecilia Parish, 1186 Newfield Ave., Stamford. Entombment will be held in private at St John’s RC Cemetery Mausoleum.
