Albert Marshall, 83, Sintering Operator, Of Stamford

BROOKFIELD, Conn. - Albert Marshall, of Brookfield, died at his home on Monday, April 1. He was 83.

Marshall was born Aug. 20, 1929 in New York, N.Y., son of Albert Marshall and Mary (Wing) Barker. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving with the 101st Airborne 516 Calvary of the U. S. Army and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

Marshall worked at Dixon Sintaloy in Stamford as a sintering operator for 33 years and retired from Engineered Sintering Products in Watertown.

Marshall is survived by his wife, Audrey; daughters, Linda Garippo, Sheree Tucker (Pete), Valerie Primerano, Alene Marshall (Sue Hopponen), and Patti Cilenti (Guy); 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Simmons. He was predeceased by his parents; two grandchildren; son-in-law, Bill Garippo.

Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3 at Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery in Brookfield.
