Walston Was Loyal Church Member

Funeral services were held Tuesday for Raymond Walston, 60. Walston, who died Aug. 19, was a member of the Jesus Is Lord Tabernacle Church in Stamford. He was born in Williamston, N.C., on Aug. 13, 1950. Walston was predeceased by his parents, Mary Della and Lenard Walston. He leaves behind siblings Eddie (Geraldine) Walston, Johnny Walston and Loraine Walston, all of Stamford; Mary (Robert Sr.) Brown of Norwalk; Fred Walston of Pinetops, N.C.; Verna Tynes of Woodbridge, Va.; and Sabra (Raymond) Mzyck of Blythewood, S.C. He also leaves an aunt, Tempie Walston of Norfolk, Va., and many other relatives and friends.
