Stamford: New Year's Eve/Day Closings

The Stamford Government Center will be closed Friday, New Year’s Eve, in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.

Schools continue to be closed for the holiday recess. They will reopen and classes will resume Monday.

Ferguson Library and its branches will maintain their regular hours Friday, New Year’s Eve. All libraries will be closed Saturday, New Year’s Day.

Post Offices will be open Friday, but some may close at noon. Residents should check with their neighborhood Post Office to see whether service will be provided beyond noon on New Year’s Eve. Mail will be delivered on the regular neighborhood schedule Friday. All Post Offices will be closed, and there will be no mail delivery, on New Year’s Day.
