A Stamford man said eight to 10 men jumped him on a South Norwalk sidewalk Thursday evening after he got into an argument in a bar. The 31-year-old man had argued over a woman with another man in the Red Lulu on Washington Street.
The other guy left the bar first. When the victim went out onto the street shortly before midnight, he was hit over the head and knocked into a car. The man he had been fighting with came back with a group. The victim fought off his attackers and made it across the street and into the Red Lulu.
The victim did not seek medical attention. Norwalk police have information and are looking for the assailants.
