- A man Eduardo Castro-Carino, 26, of 131 West Broad St. was accused of burning his girlfriend's belongings in a driveway and then pulling a 10-inch knife on her threatening to kill her because she didn't want to tell her mother about their relationship.
- Three teenagers, James Anthony Manganiello, 19, of Greenwich, Jack Conor Burke, 19, of Stamford and David Franklin Roberts, 19, of Greenwich are facing charges after they were accused of vandalizing sprinklers in the area of 100 Washington Blvd. in Stamford's South End.
- Mosquitoes trapped in Stamford have tested positive for the West Nile virus, with the city joining Bridgeport, Danbury, East Haven, New Britain and Stratford with reports of the infected insects.
