? A Stamford man was sentenced to 15 years in prison and five years of special probation Thursday for attempting to shoot a cop in 2011. During the incident, the gun jammed allowing the officers to take down the suspect.
? Police arrested a man who is suspected of having a relationship with his 13-year-old female cousin Thursday. He also had pornographic pictures of the girl on his phone, police said. He was charged with possession of child pornography, employing a minor in an obscene performance and risk of injury to a minor.
? Earlier this month two female goat kids were born at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center and named after television hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. On Friday, the goats made an appearance on “Today,” meeting the real Gifford and Kotb in front of a national audience.
