Stamford Gets a Few Hours in the Sun

The sun came out Thursday afternoon, seemingly for the first time this week, and it brought the people of Stamford out with it. Whether walking their dogs, jogging or talking at a coffee shop, they were out enjoying the spring-like conditions.

It wasn't expected to last, however. More showers are forecast Thursday night and throughout the day Friday, the National Weather Service said. There is a 40 percent chance of precipitation Thursday night. Friday we can look for scattered showers and thunderstorms from about 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The sun will Saturday and Sunday, the weatherman says, but there is a slight chance of showers after 2 p.m. Saturday.
