STAMFORD, Conn. An 11-year-old Stamford boy suspected of shooting a B.B. gun at his neighbors as they swam in their pool was arrested Monday afternoon, Sgt. Robert Shawinsky said.
You have to take these things seriously, Shawinsky said.
The complainant, the father of the two girls swimming, told police he saw a hand with a pistol coming out of the second floor window of the neighboring house, Shawinsky said. The suspects parents told police the boy was home and had an air-soft handgun.
One of the victims did have marks on her shoulders, Shawinsky said.
The boy was charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault, Shawinsky said. He was released to his parents.
