STAMFORD, Conn -- With the sun burning brightly and temperatures in the mid-80s, Schimik Rastislav stayed cool swimming at Cummings Beach. The beach appears to be a place to be this week as Tuesdays weather is likely to repeat the rest of this week.
Wednesday and Thursday should look much like Tuesday, with temperatures nearing 90 and bright sun most of the day, the National Weather Forecast says. There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night and throughout Thursday, the weather service says.
Temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s Friday, with clouds but no rain.
