STAMFORD, Conn. Sally Anne Santamaria, 58, died Jan. 13 at Stamford Hospital after a short illness. She was born and raised in Stamford.
After graduating from Rippowam High School she went on to earn her bachelors degree in special education at Southern Connecticut State University. She worked as an executive aide at Conair Corp., Stamford Radiological Assoc., Trilegiant Corp. and Cadbury Beverages Inc. Santamaria also worked as an aerobics instructor at the New York Sports Club in Stamford.
Santamaria is survived by her mother, Adeline Addie Monaco Santamaria; a sister, Mary Robertino and her companion, Thomas Vitti; her grandmother, Mary Forlivio Monaco, and her ex-husband Anthony Della Pietro. She was predeceased by her sister, Linda Santamaria Orrico.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will be private.
