Ronald "Ronnie" Powell, who served the city of Stamford as a head custodian for the school system, died Nov. 3 at Stamford Hospital. He was 55.
Powell was born May 10, 1955, in Lumberton, NC. He was a member of Shekinah Glory Ministry of Stamford.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Brayboy Powell; sons Quincy Powell and Tyrone Powell; daughters Kendra Powell and Kenisha Powell; and mother Theresa Powell, all of Stamford. Other survivors include three brothers, a sister, a grandson, and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Powell was predeceased by a son.
Powell's funeral service was held in North Carolina.
