Police: Stamford Woman Arrested with Crack Pipe

STAMFORD, Conn. – A Stamford woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after she was found with a crack-cocaine pipe and a baggy that had been used to transport crack-cocaine on Monday night, police said.

Two police officers approached the woman after they saw her hide behind a vehicle on Atlantic Street. Xenia A. Gazarkh admitted to the officers that she had just smoked crack-cocaine, police said.

After being placed under arrest for possession, she began screaming at the officers, tried to pull away and had to be forced into the back of a squad car, police said.

The 32-year-old was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, police said.

? Hector Toj-Jeronimo, 23, of 692 Pacific St. in Stamford, was arrested early Wednesday morning for operating a motor vehicle without a license, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and failure to display lights, police said.

? Francisco Castillo-Mendez, 45, of 25 Clinton Ave. Stamford, was charged on Tuesday with violation of a protective order and second degree breach of peace, police said.

? Julio Cesar Salvador, 35, of 114 Ludlow St. Stamford, was arrested for evading responsibility, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and violation of a motor vehicle license class, police said.
