STAMFORD, Conn. The Stamford Police need help in tracking down a driver who struck a pedestrian Sunday, Aug. 7, and didn't stop. A $500 reward has been offered to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the motorist, a police statement said.
The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad has determined that the vehicle is a 1999 to 2004 Land Rover Discovery Series 2 Model. The vehicle is white gold, will have damage to the right front signal light and right front bumper and is missing the passenger side rearview mirror, the statement said.
The accident took place at South State Street and Atlantic Street at about 2:25 a.m. Sunday. The condition of the pedestrian was not released.
