Minor Case Gets Bigger After Inaction

Noe Lopez, 31, of Lockwood Avenue, was arrested Thursday morning at the Stamford Police Department after turning himself in on a warrant, according to police. Lopez previously had been issued an infraction summons on charges of creating a public disturbance. He had a choice of either paying a fine or pleading not guilty, police said. He did neither, and a warrant for his arrest was issued. After turning himself in and being processed, Lopez posted the $100 bail. He was given an Aug. 26 court date.
