WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Train service on the New Haven Line was temporarily suspended Wednesday morning between Stamford, Conn., and Grand Central Terminal because of power problems caused by the loss of a Con Edison feeder cable, Metro-North announced.
New Haven Line tickets will be honored on the Harlem Line. Limited service was being provided between Stamford and New Haven in Connecticut.
Check the Metro-North website for updates and listen for announcements at your station.
The power problem also stopped Amtrak, which said via Twitter: "Service New York Penn, NY (NYP) to New Haven, CT (NHV) delayed approximately 60 - 90 minutes due to power system problems. Repairs underway."
