Marguerite Rousseau, 95, of Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. – Marguerite M. Rousseau, of Stamford, died on Oct. 18. She was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, on May 7, 1916. She was 95.

She worked in the Yale and Towne and the Schick corporations.

Rousseau is survived by her daughter, Barbara Rousseau; her sister, Doris Scalise; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Hector Rousseau; her sisters, Mary Theresa Coughlin, Helen Coughlin, Maude Angelo and Ada Myrtle Kubelle; and her brothers, James Sterling, John, Urban, Harold, Henry and Raymond Coughlin.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. at the Basilica of St. John the Evangelist, 279 Atlantic St., in Stamford. Interment will follow.
