Madeline Lukaniec died Friday, April 8, at Stamford Hospital. She was 79 years old. The Stamford resident was born in Wendake, Quebec, Canada.
Lukaniec is survived by her husband, William J. Lukaniec Sr.; two daughters, Helen Baker and Renee Candia; two sons, William J. Lukaniec Jr. and Paul Lukaniec; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 369 Washington Blvd., Stamford. Interment will be private. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Bosak Funeral Home.
