A Mass will be celebrated for Louis Cacciotti Jr., a former supervisor at Stamford Hospital and lifelong Stamford resident, Thursday, Jan. 20, at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Cacciotti died Monday, Jan. 17, at the Richard L. Rosenthal Hospice. He was 63 years old.
Cacciotti was born Oct. 5, 1947. His work at Stamford Hospital entailed supervising building maintenance. In addition, he oversaw a number of hospital renovations as project manager. Among his friends were members of the 50s pop group Little Anthony and the Imperials. He himself performed as a magician. He brought smiles to the faces of children and adults as Mr. Deception, executing a variety of magic tricks at social events and childrens parties.
Cacciotti leaves behind his mother, Philomena Toscano Cacciotti; four sons, Matthew, Mark, Michael and Jonathan; and his brother, Paul Cacciotti Sr. He was predeceased by former wife, Carmen Wolseth Cacciotti. Interment in Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, will follow the service.
