STAMFORD, Conn. Jerry Bookman, 45, died Sept. 12 at St. Vincents Hospital. He was born in Newberry, S.C., on May 21, 1966.
He worked for Bollinger Inc. in Stamford.
Bookman is survived by his daughter, Malia Denyla Brown-Bookman; sisters Sophia Burkett, Jeannie Gary and Helen Bookman; his companion, Michelle Knight; and many other friends and relatives.
Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Downer Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Newberry.
