A Mass will be celebrated for Stamford resident Helen Morris on Friday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 369 Washington Blvd., Stamford. Morris died Sunday, Jan. 9, at the age of 83.
She was born Jan. 1, 1928, and was a lifelong Stamford resident. She served the city for many years as a Superior Court administrator. Survivors include her son, Walter Morris of Greenwich; her daughter, Susan Cook of Bellview, Fla., and her sister, Sophie Aleksandrowicz of Stamford. Her brother, John Aleksandrowicz, predeceased her.
The family will welcome visitors on Thursday, Jan. 13, at the Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, from 4 to 8 p.m. After the Friday service, interment will take place at St. John Roman Catholic Cemetery, Darien.
