STAMFORD, Conn. A 7-year-old girl was hospitalized after falling from a second-story window of a Stamford residence Tuesday evening, Sgt. Tom Barcello said. She was leaning on the window when she fell, he said.
It was a complete accident. She was leaning and it gave way, Barcello said.
The girl was conscious and appeared to have only minor injuries but was being evaluated at Stamford Hospital, the sergeant said.
The incident occurred on Fieldstone Terrace.
