STAMFORD, Conn. -- Frances E. (Hubbard) Sim of Stamford died on Thursday, June 30, at Stamford Hospital. She was 71 years old. Born in New York City, she lived in the Bronx before moving to Stamford in 1966.
Survivors are her husband of 49 years, Thomas Sim; her son, Michael Sim and his wife, Valerie; two daughters, Maureen A. McSweeney and her fiancé, Greg Sikes, and Catherine E. Sim and her significant other, Don M. Smith; her brother, Raymond Hubbard and his wife, Barbara; her sisters, Dorothy Donavon and her husband, James, and Geraldine Hubbard, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours and a prayer service were held at Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, July 3.
In lieu of flowers her family is asking that donations be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, 2080 Silas Deane Highway, 2nd Floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
