STAMFORD, Conn. Emma Iris Nieves, 44, a lifelong Stamford resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 18. She was born Dec. 27, 1966.
Nieves graduated from Stamford High School in 1984. She loved animals, especially her dog, Smokey.
Nieves is survived by her longtime boyfriend, Tito Santiago; her two sisters, Camelia Massanet and Sonia Gaztambide; and three brothers, Angel Luis Nieves, Willie Nieves and Benjamin Nieves. She was predeceased by a brother, Jose Luis Nieves.
Calling hours will be Friday, Oct. 21, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bosak Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
