Driver Gets Boisterous Over Loud Muffler Stop

Michael Sean Medley, 23, of 25 Aberdeen St., Stamford,  was arrested Wednesday when police pulled him over for a loud muffler and he refused to cooperate.

According to police, Medley refused to lower his window for officers, saying, “What are you stopping me for?” and then, “I’m not opening the door for a loud muffler.”

Officers finally pulled Medley from the car and handcuffed him. He was charged with resisting arrest, interfering with a police officer and driving with an improper exhaust.

He was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing  Dec. 29.
