STAMFORD, Conn. -- I-95 southbound is congested for more than 3 miles between Exits 8 and 5 because of two-car accident between Exits 7 and 6 in Stamford, the Connecticut Department of Transportation said.
The right lane is closed in the area. The crash was reported Tuesday at 6:19 p.m.
It was not clear how long it would take to clear the accident scene. Traffic tie-ups are reported in the area in both directions.
