Buses Replace Trains Sunday On Metro-North's New Canaan Branch

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Bus service was being provided Sunday afternoon on the Metro-North New Canaan Branch, the rail line announced on its website

A train was disabled in the vicinity of the Glenbrook station, Metro-North said. Bus service will continue until further notice.

Also, buses were operating late due to traffic in the area.

Train service remained shut down Sunday between South Norwalk and New Haven as a result of Sunday's derailment, Metro-North said.
