Ann Joan Jablonski, 96, Lifelong Stamford Resident

STAMFORD, Conn. – Ann Joan Jablonski, 96, died Sept. 20 at the Waveny Care Center in New Canaan. The lifelong Stamford resident was born Jan. 24, 1915.

A homemaker most of her life, Jablonski worked six years as an assembler for Omega Engineering before retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance Society.

She enjoyed crocheting creative pieces for friends and relatives, and making stuffed cabbage, her favorite dish, for all to enjoy. She attended the Holy Name of Jesus Church her entire life, and graduated from the school there.

Jablonski is survived by two daughters, Marion McConnon and Theresa Sirico; a sister, Hedwig Kaslikowski; and a granddaughter and many other relatives. She was predeceased by her husband, Adolph, who died in 2003.

A Mass was celebration at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Monday morning with interment following at St. John’s Cemetery in Darien. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Bosak Funeral Home.
