2 Injured, 0 Arrests After Stamford Brawl

STAMFORD, Conn. — Police received multiple reports of a 20-person brawl in Stamford’s South End at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Stamford police Capt. Tom Wuennemann said.

When police arrived on the scene, people fled and only two victims remained, Wuenneman said. Both had suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment, he said.

Two baseball bats were found at the scene, but police are not sure if they had been used during the fight, Wuennemann said. Investigators are reviewing surveillance tapes from around the scene and will be reaching out to the victims to gather more information about the incident, he said.

No arrests have been made and there are no suspects, as of now, the captain said.

Any witnesses can call police at 203-977-4444.
