STAMFORD, Conn. - Volunteers from the Jewish Twenties and Thirties organization gave back to the community on Thursday, Oct. 27, by organizing and restocking the Kosher Food Pantry in Stamford.
The food bank is to open to all that apply to use it and is a part of the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, a statement said. The pantry was founded in 2003 and has distributed more than 4,000 servings to 200 families over the past year. It is maintained and run by Jewish Family Services.
Jewish Twenties and Thirties is a part of Connecticut Jewish Singles and is focused on giving back to the community, the Connecticut Jewish Singles website said.
Donations can be made to the Kosher Food Pantry by calling Jewish Family Services at 203-921-4161.
