Stamford's Ferguson Library To Commemorate 'I Have A Dream' Speech

STAMFORD, Conn.-- The Ferguson Library in Stamford will host an event to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous "I Have a Dream" speech on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Ferguson Library  will screen the documentary "King: A Filmed Record... Montgomery to Memphis."

The event will take place in the third floor Auditorium and will include a viewing of the documentary "King: A Filmed Record... Montgomery to Memphis."

The documentary was released in 1970 and covers King's life using only newsreel and other primary sources to document King's life from the Montgomery bus boycott in 1955 to his assassination in Memphis in 1968.
