Stamford Teens To Go to Bat for Library Again

STAMFORD, Conn. – A library may not seem like a “hot-spot” for teenagers but on Oct. 21 Stamford's Harry Bennett Branch will be all the rage when “Teen Read-In 2” takes place.

T-MAD (Teenagers Making a Difference), the library’s teen advisory committee, held the first read-in last spring and raised over $2,100 in donations to support the Ferguson Library. During the night, teenagers were at the library reading from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Stamford kids in middle and high school are eligible to participate in the read-in. Snacks will be provided.

For more information, call Barbara Klipper at 203 351-8245 or visit the teen page of the library’s website.
