Stamford Salon Hosts Free Lice Screenings For Kids

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Licenders in Stamford is offering free screenings for lice during this Halloween season, enabling parents to catch any potential problems early.

The salon recommends bringing in children for a free check before they go trick-or-treating.

“Halloween is a hot-bed for lice,” says Licenders owner, Adie Horowitz. “Kids try on wigs, hats, and share brushes, effortlessly transmitting lice from head to head.”

No appointments are necessary for free screenings, and walk-ins are welcome. The salon, located at 30 Myano Lane, Stamford, is open seven days a week.
